Cool I'm back!!!!!

It's been three long years but I'm back and I got my truck back.
I sold it over three years ago and found out 2 days ago that it was for sale . I had to give up my 82 k10 but I fell it was worth it .
When I sold the 71 it was all apart and in prime . Now she is back together ,painted and running . I'm so HAPPY

back in January i was working some wierd hours, and went in to work at 2am. it was the first time i had ever worked 3rd shift. on my way to break, i noticed a red 82 C10 in the maintnance shop. i went in to talk to the guy who was working on it, just to kill time. as i got closer, i couldnt say anything, as i was noticing teh similarities to my old truck. the grill was broken the same way, front bumper tweaked, fender emblems missing, even the velcros strips that the PO had put on the dash. then i walked around to the back of the truck and couldnt believe what i saw. apparently, when they painted it they didnt do any bodywork to the tailgate. there in the lower left corner of the gate were the words "The End..." just as i had painted it on 4 years before. i've been trying to talk him out of that truck ever since, but he loves it too much to come off of it.

Very nice truck!! My next one, when I find it, will be a 72, if I ever finish my 84! Man I just need a bigger garage, like Jay Leno! Let's see, what should I take out today!

I had my own auto repair shop and I stored the truck in one of the bays there. Well I had the truck all apart ,like I had the front clip off ,the doors off , and I had the rocker cut . I had just finished setting the engine in and rebuilding the front end when this young guy came in to get his wifes car worked on . Well he folowed me out through the shop and he seen the truck there . He asked me whos truck that was and I said it was mine . He then began to ask if it was for sale and I told him that I really didnt want to sell it but if he had enough cash it was his. He asked how much and I told him $3000.00,he said load it up and roll it out . The rest is history
