Replacement SPID?

Hi, I have a 68 C-10 that I know nothing about. It doesn't have a glove box door and it has bucket seats out of a Cessna, so no build sheet. Can I get a replacement SPID using the VIN, or does this truck have to go the rest of it's life never knowing who it really is?
Thanks, jwgeorge

No, Sorry George, your truck is going to have a identity crisis for the rest of it's life. The General does not have that info for our trucks. All you can do is figure what was there by what is there and how it looks. I'm in the same boat with my truck.
(sometimes the build sheet is behind the tank or under the carpet, but it is usually in the seat springs.)

Re: Replacement SPID?

if you can find the build thread you can have board member chipflyer make you one. he has the correct gm spid sheets and the correct font and all part numbers for available options.

Re: Replacement SPID?

have jeff (chipflyer) make you a new one, and you can add as many options as you want!
