292 Power steering
I have the pump & brackets for 292 power steering. It has the pressure hose & water pump pulley & alt. brackets. It is for the narrow belts. $250. I have the harmonic balancer also. $25 more. It is 2 groove.

Re: 292 Power steering
Nice rare system...It looks like that is for a 250. Small balancer & top brackets with no hose cutout. Are you pretty sure it is 292? It should sell well in either case.

Re: 292 Power steering
It came off a 292. The 250 bracket has a slot for the alt. adjustment. This has a separate bracket.

Re: 292 Power steering
Was it an integral head 292? The pump bracket doesn't look like the factory 292 bracket on my 67. Just trying to help clarify so people know what they are buying. The water pump pulley is for a truck with a smog pump (third groove) so likely an integral head setup.

Re: 292 Power steering
Those are for the newer style 292, not our era. That bracket will interfere with the bypass hose. I just went through this on my 1967. I tried to make a set like that work on my 67 but it is pretty much impossible.
I am not trying to poop on your thread, just trying to save some hassle for both the buyer and seller.

Re: 292 Power steering
I apreciate all the feedback. I dont want to sell it if it wont work for someone. This is off an 83. The 74 up used a different system from the older ones. There was no intregal head on 292s.
