1965 chevy 60-66 step side and wide bed gas tank door mods.

Anyone have any pics for a gas tank door mounted on the rear stepside fender or wide bed at the rear.
Thanks Jeff.

When you route the gas filler hose will it all be inside the bedside and not visible from inside the bed? If so I guess it may require some cutting on the frame possibly?

Thanks Jeff.

I didn't have to modify my frame the hose goes in between the bed and frame.

So Alan, how does the fill hose work? how does it hook to the tank? is over or under the frame rail?

Over the rail. Not sure how it's gonna work yet. I haven't tried it out. Don't look at the hose. In the pic it hasn't been aligned yet. I had to cut the filler pipe off and shorten it on the Ranger filler pipe.

DaveBoyd, he's a vendor on the board. He can make it the way you want with your drawings. The filler pipe on the tank was a 90*. My neighbor sdailey fixed it for me so it will flow better. I hope.
