tunnel rams
I saw this up at carlisle this weekend.Tunnel rams under a cowl hood.I thought you would need a higher cowl hood or a hole in the hood for tunnel rams.The motor looked like it was sittling lower in the truck but not sure.I didnt see the owner there at the truck to ask questions.Neat tuck though.

might have had a drop crossmember installed lowering the motor by a few inches .

Motor could be lower but there is a lot of room under the hood of one of these trucks.May be he picked that particular tunnel ram because it was low enough to fit with just a cowl hood.

It's called Small Block Chevy. He also has the rear of the hood brace seriously notched. Just try doing that with a BBC! Look at how much more massive the BBC tunnel ram is.
