It has 6 cyl stamped on the back of the tin, not on the tach. Randy

So does anyone know if the I6 and V6 tachs are identical? Reason tells me they would be (both 6cyls driven electrically off distributor). Can anyone confirm?

Sorry to rehash old threads but I am looking for some more info. I recently came across a tach cluster and i am not sure what it is. The bezel is a 67-68 with choke, the lens is a 4k tach lense and the circuit is a part number 6290459-1. Also i can not find a stamp on the tin that says 6 or 8 just the 12v and coil for the posts. What else can i check to find the exact application.
