Question Need input because I'm still not sure?

I had originally purchased the woodgrain molding to add to my Blazer but after it was all painted I was against putting it on. Now I'm having second thoughts and am seriously thinking about adding it. What do you think? Here's a couple of pictures.

Re: Need input because I'm still not sure?

Here's my opinion:

lifted 4x4 = no trim or tailgate band
lowered 2x4 = both

So if it were mine I'd put it on!

I went through the same struggle. Most of my friends said no trim at all! But since I already had it I taped it on to one side and stood back. It helped a lot to make the decision.

I love the trim. I would like to add the black trim to mine. Tape it on and you'll be able to decide for yourself.

You forgot to tell everybody that you have the tailgate band and the glove box wood grain all ready started, you ding dong, up load a rear view photo to show how nice it looks already, then get to work, trust me the finished project will look good!

Tape them on and ponder it. I would use it. Lower trim only has an effect of visually pulling the truck down. Great for a lowered 2wd Blazer.

I hate the wood trim look myself but I think I would just tape it on and see if you like it or not.

Tape it on and see how it looks. Can't go wrong with those polished slots though!

Woodgrain trim on these trucks is a "must have" item! JMHO!

Re: Need input because I'm still not sure?

Yeah. I'm gonna put it on but I'm going to use the adhesive clips so I don't have to drill holes.

I haven't heard of those clips. Do you have a link? They sound like a great idea.

I don't have a link but i saw them in the 'Truck Shop' catalog. My uncle the C/10 King told me about them. He might have a little more info.

Re: Need input because I'm still not sure?

I found that the LMC kit has some stick on fasteners, but I would like to know how many holes will still need to be drilled if any.

I like the clean look without the molding.
