Oil line please help.......

will this work with a plastic oil line....

I'm putting in a OEM oil gauge and have copper line, but the plastic would be so much easier to feed through the fire wall....

Any help would be great....

yes it will work , but i would suggest running your plastic line thru small rubber vacuum line so it does not kink plus it will protect the plastic line. hope this has helped

yup, most definitely use the plastic and even use the rubber hose over it, it will save its life for when well... you are under the hood n looks cleaner

when you say will this work and have a picture of a brass fitting, I take that to mean that you are asking if that fitting will work with the plastic line.
Yes, you can use plastic line but you may need to change the type of brass connectors. A plastic hose usually requires a brass ferrell

that is brass....the connection to the back of the stock oil gauge requires that piece in the photo....the other end (on the block) uses a standard compression fitting......

I can see that the pic is of a brass fitting, how will you use a plastic line with THAT brass fitting?

The same way I would the copper line....
feed it through and tighten the fitting

I'm only worried about it "cutting" the plastic...
The copper fitting "buldged/flared"
