Dropped spindle issues - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just installed the CPP 2 inch drop modular spindles and disc brake setup along with stock height springs. All the steering components are new Moogs and the control arm shafts are also new Moog. I used the same alignment shims that came out of the stock setup untill it goes to the alignment shop.

I then decided to get it close and set the toe in at about 1/8 inch and just checked with a level on the wheels to look at the camber because the pass side looked like it was way in at the top. The driver side has a slight amount of negative camber but the pass side has a ton. I backed out the nuts all the way on the upper control arm shaft and could not get it as close as the driver side.

I'm afraid that the holes in the spindle are not machined correctly or am I just being too anal about this before I get any load on the frame? At this point there is no weight anywhere on the frame (no cab, box or running gear.
What do you all think? Thanks for your comments in advance.

Don't assume anything until you are back on the ground, full weight and have rolled it a few feet to allow the suspension to "settle" into it ride position. Just set things the way they were prior to changing the spindles and let the alignment shop check things.

That's probably what I'll do although when I mention dropped spindles to the alignment guys around here I mostly get a lot of negative comments.

Any other opinions/comments anyone?

The suspension will need to have all of the vehicle weight sitting at ride height before making adjustments, etc.
