Hey guys! I'm new here.

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Jeff and I just bought this 1970 Suburban. For the last 16 years I've been helping my local Ford dealerships out, but I figured it was time to get back into a Chevy, and the only way I was going to do that was to have a solid front axle underneath me and the old body style with real metal around me and my family.

I bought it to fix up for a DD and a play rig. I had a '71 Blazer in high school and wish I never had sold it. Always loved the old school look. Anyway, hope to gain a lot of knowledge on this site and see some *****en burbs.

Thanks guys! Pretty excited to work on it, adding a little here and there. Are there any other websites you frequent that specialize in the older Suburbans?

Hands down... this is the best site, best group of people and a great resource for information and parts. I have not come across other sites nearly as good.

Re: Hey guys! I'm new here.

I couldn't have said it better than Dougo.

This forum is hands down the only place on the net that even welcomes and embraces early Suburbans, along with that there is a cohesive relationship between the generations of Suburbans with a mutual respect no matter what year Suburban.

Re: Hey guys! I'm new here.

Thanks again guys! Been looking at pictures of the old body style Burbs on this site and man, there are some cool ones. I hope to gain a ton of knowledge and it looks like I will.
