93 GMC grille

Question is, I just bought a 93 GMC Z71 SWB, will the grill out of a 94 interchange with it, I like the 94 grill better...

Yes but you have to change the fillers at the bottom to 94 up and all the marker/park lights. You will have to drill a few holes and cut a couple small slots in the rad support and fashion some spacers too. I did the same on my 92.

You'll also need the 2 inner bumper mounts and the sidemarkers and parking lamps.

I've heard you can get away without the late bumper mounts but it doesn't quite look as good. I'd forgotten about the bumper mount. I did change that up too on mine.

The point of the later bumper mounts is that it pushes the bumper forward slightly to allow for the filler panels of the later grille to fit properly behind the bumper. When I first updated my '91, it was way back before truck forums like this existed. I first tried it without the new bumper mounts (because I didn't know about that part of the job), and it wasn't going to fit without flexing the crap out of the filler.

^what he said I'm still rolling with the updated grille without the newer brackets and the filler looks like poo. but I'm ok with it b/c i'm tucking the bumper this summer
