and if they are, what sizes fit? I know my 68/67 can fit 6x9's @ the front bottom portion of the door, what about 73-up's?

On my 80 there were holes sized for 6 1/2's. I have some Vegas that I used and they sounded AWESOME. Just be sure to dynomat the inside of the doors.

i have a polk audio three way 6 by 9's in my 84 with no power locks or windows. i dont know if thoes motors add any room.. but you sould be safe. also, they have to be mounted a bit low, so check for that. and also watch out for some welds, they are hard to see, and you dont want to cut the cross bars in your door. i think there are two about an inch from the front of the door about 3 inches up.
make sure to draw the speaker outline on the door and add about an inch to that just to make sure you dont end up with your speaker hitting the cab or floor. good luck

Power window motors are mounted pretty low in the front corner of the door.

No power windows/locks here. As anal as I am, I was thinking about centering them horizontally w/the front door sill trim & vertically w/the recessed section along the bottom portion of the doors.

I've got some 4x10 brackets for the cab corners so I'll either use them as is or possibly hog 'em out for some 6x9's there as well, although they don't really seal that good to the cab. Hhmmm, maybe just fab some aluminum instead?
