Tailgate trunion

The tailgate on my 70' k/5 is very sloppy, moves up/down in closed position. A friend of mine with an early bronco says the make a trunion that is smaller in size and wrapped in urathane to eliminate tailgate noise/slop. checked all the vendors,no good. Does anyone make something like this?

Re: Tailgate trunion

You can buy a new trunion from a vendor. I don't think they have poly in them though. Just metal on metal. I assume they need grease but not sure....
