Pictures....Any NON-Lowered Shortbeds with 20's

I know there's tons of lowered shortbeds with 20's, but I dont plan to lower mine. I saw a 69 hugger orange shortbed at Pomona swap meet a while back with stock suspension and 20's and it really looked sharp........wish I had my camera with me that day

I hope I'm wrong but that truck looks way lower than mine when I got it. I'm sure both axle centerlines were below the body. It looks great but has a similar stance as my my truck now w a 4-6 drop. I'll see if I can post a pic stock later.

mine when i got it. its 2wd i swear. the top of the rear wheel is almost even with the bottom of the body. imo this ride height with 20's would look pretty donkish.
everybody is so used to seeing notched and bagged trucks laying frame that a 4-6 truck looks stock.

That truck looks really good!!!
what's the tire sizes and could you measure from the bottom of each fender to the concrete? I'm guessing that the stock springs are sagging if it's never been lowered...

Thats real sharp
Its also sitting like the one I saw, with tons of ground clearance, and the springs were rusty originals, but they could have sagged a little over time.
Im definetaly interested in going that route

That's the lowest "stock height" truck I've ever seen.

maybe 40 years of sagging springs???

truck looks real good though

Re: Pictures....Any NON-Lowered Shortbeds with 20's

Hey guys,

Sorry can't give a measurment right now, I have her tore down. We are getting ready to give her a new coat. Doing some mod to her like putting a 68 front end, removing the molding and putting a wooden floor in the bed, rewiring her and putting one piece windows in the doors. She got some visible cancer starting to show up so we stripped her down. She's naked and a little ashamed but she'll be back. got lots of new stuff for her. These are a couple of pictures but since we have removed the bed, windows, doors and front end.
