i like the engine color the same as the truck color on custom cars but if it is not going to be a high dollar hot rod then i would go with either black or like some one else said maybe a dark grey. also for yellow that i was thinking of VW has a nice mellow yellow color on there bugs

Im not sure if it was mentioned. How bout painting the block the same as the body color?

I actually wound up painting my engine glossy black. I am thinking of painting the truck Marina Blue or Black. Not sure just yet. Either way, the black engine will look ok i think.
