Another 1993 GMC question

The 93 Z71 I just purchased has a 4L60E in it, that is trashed, I have a 700R4 that is already rebuilt, what problems will I run in to when I swap these out? the 700R4 is out of a 1990 Suburban, I have the computer for it, and I also have a stand alone wiring harness for the 350 and 700R4, Will I need to use the stand alone harness and computer? OR, is there an easier way to make the 700 work and use the harness that is already in the truck?.... I know, lots of questions... I am trying not to use the stand alone harness, it belongs to another project (1956 4WD)
Thanks

Re: Another 1993 GMC question

The later transmission has electronic controls, whereas the 700 uses a TV cable.

Gonna be watching to see what the replies are...

Should be for the torque converter lockup if you are talking about a four prong plug.

Yes it should be a direct swap, as long as you are talking about 4x4 to 4x4. Other then having to hook up the TV cable etc..
