i'm slowly stripping the old 64 i have posted for sale and thought i'd offer some free pieces- this stuff will go in the scrap bin at work this week so if you can use it call me quickly (925)642-5931. this is first come first serve, pick up only and i do not have pics.
#1-hood- couple of dents, no rust-gone
#2-tailgate-couple dents, no rust-gone
#3-grille surround-one small dent, no rust-gone
#4-seat-folds forward, good tracks-rough upholstry-scraped

Man this kind of stuff kills me. Us east coast guys really need this kind of stuff and the west coast guys are putting it in the trash. Some one save this stuff!

Jimmy,
i hate to throw it out but i live in town and i have a neighbor that has the city code enforcement number on speed-dial, plus the house right next door has issues with unpaid property taxes so i see "city people" at least once a week. if you can find a way to get it, i'd be happy to see someone who can use it instead of it becoming a new toyota or something.

jerry if it wasnt so far i would come get everything but my lord we have a country in between us. but i am going to get what i can. like i realy need a hood but they would burn me up on that one

great talking to you yesterday. yeah, i'm sure that hood would cost a fortune to ship. i hope someone on here will come get this stuff, i really hate to pitch it. pulled a little more off yesterday, inner fenders, core support and tailgate. got the bed emptied out and the frame looks real nice where someone cleaned and painted it. looks like it also has a one piece driveshaft but that will have to wait--it's back to work this morning.

Maybe consider Greyhound for shipping the hood? I've seen sellers on ebay offering to ship using that method.

You could make a wood frame out of furring strips to keep it from getting mangled. Just a thought.

If you lived in the Brentwood in So Cal, I'd be all over those parts.

Well I can understand the problems with the codes guys. If I could get it shipped for a decent price the grill surround would be nice to have. Around here a good no rust panel goes for between 100 and 200 bucks, depending on how dented up it is. I found some nice stuff at Carlisle last week in that price range and would have bought what I needed but was short on cash buy the time I had bought stuff I need more right now. But I will be better prepared the next time I go. What we need is a few well connected truckers on the board here. Get some of the great south west stuff here to the rust belt.

Just an FYI: He is in the Northern California version of Brentwood. In the San Francisco bay area.

Hey Jerry, I'll come get any of that stuff before you pitch it. Don't worry nothing will go to waste. I'll come get it when I get my truck running. Hopefully in a few days. Been busy the last few days and haven't been able to work on my wiring. I want to cut out that patch panel and we can talk about some other parts too.

So-Cal guys, I can hold on to that hood and you might find somebody from Nor-Cal willing to throw it in the back of their truck and bring it down to "Brothers 2011" on July 10th.

Thanks but I will probably just use my parts instead rather than taking the ones you had offered for free and then passing the same offer to others with my parts later.

i'd totally forgotten the grille surround listed in the "free"stuff. how about 50 bucks for the core support and the surround is still free.

i'll have to dig it out but if i remember correctly the only issue it had was some screw holes from a tonneau cover along the upper edge. will try getting it out over the weekend.
