Unhappy Free engine and Powerglide

I suspect people may think I'm just trying to get rid of junk here--it's not. The truck was running/driving well when parked two years ago to install a Posi. This was not done for reasons I'm not going into here but this is a good six cylinder drive train. If you can use this and don't come and pull it, it's your loss. Maybe I should ask $400 for it????

I'm preparing to strip my '68 P/U for restoration. If someone would like to have a good running original six cylinder and Powerglide, it's available IF you can pull it by Memorial day-5/22 thru 5/26 not available. Don't say yes and expect to pull it June 5, ok? It won't work. It's located between Winston Salem and Statesville, NC. A decent place to work and a hoist are available--no other tools-bring what you need. Most everything attached to engine goes, but not all. If interested send PM with phone # and I will call. Please be serious about this as I will be depending on you to show. Price? Free, but apparently you can't give stuff away here--so $1.00 OK?

Re: Free engine and Powerglide

I agree DesertCat.
Our truck came w/ this set up, someone switched to 350.
Since we don't have engine or tranny in truck right now and 327 rebuild is on hold for fundage reasons, would like to try this set up. Might not go back w/ a V8.
