which cab mounts for 68 2wd to 72 4wd?

Ok I'm starting to get my parts list together for a big order on our project. The project is a 68 2wd LWB PU going on a 72 4wd LWB frame. Should I order cab/body mounts for the 68 or 72? AND should I get 2wd or 4wd mounts?

I have been told to get the 72 mounts, but I noticed there is a difference between the 2wd and 4wd.

BTW: LMC has ZERO tech assistance and I find that staggering! Is there a better vendor to deal with?

I would say get the mounts that match your frame. Cabs and beds should be the same. My $.02

you will need the 4x4 mounts to fit the frame if you compare the frames you can see the difference in the rear cab mounts

I put a 2wd cab on my 4wd frame and got mounts for a 4wd. If you get urethane mounts you have to shim the front of the cab up quite a bit. I don't know why but everyone I've installed I had to shim up. Cabs are the same. Frame mounts are different.
