Ah oops, Dipstick Move !
Oops, so today I was working on putting my motor back together and I moved some boxes and come to find out I forgot to put the metal tube in to the block and I already put in a upper dipstick tube. Will there be a problem later on down the road. Or should I remove the new upper and try to install the inner tube part. I just finished rebuilding my 307 and i'm just putting on the last couple things

Can't figure out what you are talking about. You only have the tube that the dipstick goes in that fits into the block on the left side.

Re: Ah oops, Dipstick Move !
Yep, when the guy washed my block be popped out the inner tube that is in the block below the upper dipstick on the left side. Just wonder if that will mess something up if i dont put it back. I have the outer dipstick installed on the left side as of now. I got ahead of my self and put stuff together.

You will not hurt anything by not putting it back in. Most guys are not even aware there is an lower tube that goes into the pan area. If the upper tube begins to leak at the block you will know why. I'd put it in while you still have access.
