Re: 67 CST Set of Knobs

Ok so I have a problem, Sharpie posted on the thread @ 2:47pm that he would take the knobs if the lighter works (don't know if it does forsure but I can check it very quickly). Ok tampz67@yahoo.com sent me a PM at 1:32 saying he would take them. Ok so I want to be fair and not have anybody hate so moderators what should happen. I do believe its policy to post on the thread and not send a pm untill to finalize the deal. Thanks for the help. And I will check to see if it works

You are correct. Sharpie was the first person to post in the thread. PM sales are against the rules. If he wanted them, he should have posted in the thread.

Re: 67 CST Set of Knobs

If Sharpie is out, these should go to the next person to post here in the thread. If Tampz67 wants them, he needs to post here first.

Re: 67 CST Set of Knobs

Thanks Zepp, Sharpie - could you please translate that for me. Are you passing them on or buying them up. I'm sure the lighter works, just haven't made it out to my truck to check it.

No problem. FYI: If someone else posts in this thread that they wish to purchase these, then they should go to that person.

Re: 67 CST Set of Knobs

The problem is clear here. If you are going to sell on this site you need to be in touch with the rules. This has been and always will be the first place I personally will go if I need parts and there are a lot of very good and knowledgeable folks on this site. Ironhill I can see how this could have been an oversight on your part but this could be a good lesson learned for you. PM sales is just not how this board functions and this situation is one of the reasons why that rule was set in place.

Re: 67 CST Set of Knobs

PT - this was no oversight or lesson learned for me thats forsure. I know the rules thats why I posted it I wanted the rules to be clear to everyone. There are other boards I sell alot of stuff on besides here and some of them want only PM's on the parts board. I like this way better to post in the add so everyone can see whats going on and who's inline. Thanks

Re: 67 CST Set of Knobs

PM's get things screwed up as you found out, I don't look at pm's till I've looked at thread. That way the guys in thread get first shot like the rules state. Just a learning experience, you'll be fine ironhill.
