K5 crossmember help

Hi guys, Hopefully there is some 4x4 guys on here that can help me. I have a 85 fullsize jimmy with a damaged crossmember for the transfer case. It is a NP208 I believe. what years/models of crossmembers are interchangeable with this one ? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: K5 crossmember help

Chevy/GMC 80-88 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks. The easy way to identify the t-case is, it's aluminum, not iron or steel. Offroad Design could also probably make you one really easily. Give them a call.

Re: K5 crossmember help

I agree with above, but in 1980 every 4x4 had a 205 case (auto and Manual). The crossmembers are visually different as the 203/205 crossmember looks kind of like a U while yours should look like a W. Kind of a crude discription but I think you understand. So 81 up.

Read the history section at the bottom of the page
