2 quick quetions
Before I pick up the 1970 C20 on the weekend I had 2 questions.
What TYPE of fuses do I need for the truck? I assume it is the stock fuse block. I know the tail lights aren't working as the seller mentioned they are not working, but not sure what type of glass fuse I need. Could be just a bad ground but I want to bring one with me when I pick it up. Also, what size are the wipers on the truck. At least one needs to get replaced so I would like to get some new ones, especially if I want to get it certified to transfer the ownership to my name.

Most fuses should be AGC and SFE style glass fuses. Amps depends on the app.
When I replaced my wipers, it called for 15" blades. I was able to use the metal blade holders and just get a set of replacement blade refills. The store only went as short as 16", but they fit fine.

I think it's a 20 amp but don't hold me to that. I'd take a 10, 20 and 30 to be sure.
If it blows it right out, you have a short somewhere, probably just a pinched wire somewhere. Have fun!

since I dont smoke I always found the ash tray a handy place to keep those spare fuses since I almost never rememberd to replace any spares in the fuse block !

Good idea for the spare fuse location. As for the tail lights. If the fuse is good, it could also be a bad ground. I had that issue back when I had my 69.
