Old Blazer... new chassis. Has anybody done it?
I have a 70 Suburban on a 99 Suburban chassis and drivetrain. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Modern goodies with old style.
I am wanting to start a long term project for my son, and I've been mulling over the idea of a 70 Blazer (or similar) on a modern 2wd SWB Chevy truck chassis. Has anyone done this?!? I'm looking for threads but coming up empty handed. The dream... (thanks to a little photo "hacking" of my 'Burb)

lots of cutting to get it down to a 104" wheel base. and i hate to say it but the 40+ year old trailing arm suspension is far superior to leaf springs.

Probably cheaper (and less stressful) to buy one with an LS swap that someone else has already put in the hard work. haha.

Re: Old Blazer... new chassis. Has anybody done it?
i have put a 1969 body on a 1986 chassis and the 1986 wheel base was three inches longer but i still had to move all the body mounts.
