Conversion questions?

59 Apache 3100, stepside, when funds allow I plan on doing a 'modern' rebuild.
Considering Scott's chassis with tank in chassis rails, disc brakes, power rack n pinion etc.
Engine is a SB327.

Main question relates to my thoughts on a (possible) conversion to RHD.
Very hard to source a replacement dash in Australia-
option 1 - fabricate a instrument binnacle on the RHS of dash ?glass; leave left one there (double bump dash)
option 2 - cut instrument binnacle from left and fab into right hand side, shave left hand side.

Chassis/rack can be fabbed to RHD by Scotts.

Are there any other considerations mechanically/body-wise if I convert to RHD?
Thoughts appreciated.
BR
