I'm still baffled by this power steering pump mounting bracket system. Anybody have a picture that might help? I can't tell the difference between the a/c bracket system and the rest of it anymore. Without some example it's like a jigsaw puzzle.

I think I figured out that the 1968 mounting brackets won't work with the larger balancer. Now I'm wondering if the later brackets will work with the 68 pump.

On my sixty eight it was a pain. I ended using a long bolt for the back bracket and had the bracket mounted to the front header bolt location on the drivers side which should be cylinder number one. I had to use some washers. Hope that helps. I don't have a working scanner to show you the setup. Wootdog
