Re: blazer buckets question?

They are the same. Only real difference is the pass mounts. You can buy the pass side mounts repo now. Drivers side is the same.

Re: blazer buckets question?

if they are from a 69/72 blazer they are the same except passenger mount. You can buy truck mount after market from several vendors.73 up blazer seats will work but have slight differences in the foam and lower skirts. 69/70 71/72 have different seat bunn and use different covers.

The passenger mounts on a blazer are different from those of the trucks. They are set up so the seat flips up allowing access to the back.

Re: blazer buckets question?

i used blazer buckets in my truck with the blazer mounts with very slight mods// the flip foward was great to help in stashing stuff behind the seats for good additional storage space

Re: blazer buckets question?

The listing says they will work for a 67/72 but never says they are 72.I have 13 sets of 69/72 buckets in my attic and several more 73/77 I know the differences in all years. The ones on ebay are from a 73/74 blazer the mounts are taller than 72 and the rear of the lower skirt runs up at and angle shorter by 1 1/2" than 69/72. 72 covers can be put on these but the lower cover need part of lower unstitched and resewn to fit correctly.I can post you pic of how to make the mod if needed.I would not buy these on ebay unless very cheap.new foam is not cheap and it will cost to rework lower covers to fit correct.

Re: blazer buckets question?

look at the mounts and the side view of the skirts and if you know the years you can tell what they are.

yep, the mounts are the dead giveaway...although having the covers off makes the skirt difference easy to see on these also...
