NOS Woodgrain

Not sure what this was for, but it seems to match the woodgrain in the original bezels. I don't have the templates to cut this for new bezels, but I may cut pieces large enough for the purchaser to cut his own. What do you think? WES

Re: NOS Woodgrain

I have a full roll of 3M DiNoc woodgrain vinyl, that is in a GM part numbered tube. It is some nice, heavy vinyl woodgrain, originally intended for the woodgrain feature on some 70's-era GM vehicles.

An old friend of mine took some that he had and redid the window frames of his '52 Chevy 2-dr sedan to create the woodgrain effect that was common at the time it was built.

But Wes, I think you have the right idea. I've thought the same thing. Just haven't acted on it.

It's about 4' long and thicker it seems thicker than some of the vinal stickers. It mikes out at .007" to .008"

Another board member wants the whole roll so I just sold it. However it is for a good cause... Hopefully he can create more. WES

Re: NOS Woodgrain

Well let's hope so. And to whoever bought the stuff.....remember all us wanna be's when you finally get something repopped. I will be first in line if the end product is good. This is one of the few things that most of these trucks are needing and can't be had.

Yes it looks like the 1983 Caprice station wagon pattern I had
