Hey Steve i have done this conversion
and i got all my info from this link: http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/t5tranny.htm not sure if it applies to a 230 though???

Thats what I was wondering too as Im unsure if there is any difference between the older 235-261 clutch,bellhousing setup and the later 230-250 -292 setups?The article makes no mention of doing it for the newer engines. Steve
