Rear shock mount picture

Can someone post a picture, or link to a picture showing a shock mount on the driver side rear axle.
Having an issue with the shock on that side and with a shock extender.

Or can you tell me if this one is abnormal?

Re: Rear shock mount picture

I know that if you add a lift kit the passenger side wont fit without some work, but, I've never seen that problem on the driver side

Re: Rear shock mount picture

I just added extenders to my 73 2wd blazer. Both of the shock mounts were identical on either side (other than facing in different directions.) There have been others on this forum that had similar issues as you though. See post #69.

Re: Rear shock mount picture

I had the same problem...I could only use 2 of the 3 bolts on each shock extender.

I am going to post in that thread also, but I think I have this figured out.
The rear-end I am using came out of my 4x4 but I swapped in 5-lug axles.
I guess there is one small difference between the 4x4 and 2wd axle housings...

This picture is from my '82 2wd K5.
