Disc Brake Kit Question

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any information on disc brake kits that use a bracket to use your existing drum spindle to mount chevelle rotors? I ask because I am wondering if I can swap the rotors for c10 rotors. If anyone has an answer that would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Disc Brake Kit Question

I think the bearing sizes are different.
That's why only a 5x4.75 pattern chevelle rotor and 2nd gen. camaro caliper is needed.
Buy a set of "direct fit" disc brake spindles for the 60-62 or 63-66 trucks and bolt them on!
Then you can use a truck rotor and caliper.

Re: Disc Brake Kit Question

Just use a set of '73-'87 truck spindles, rotors and calipers. You will have to change the ball joints, but it is a relatively simple and inexpensive conversion.
