Radio Bezel

I've searched the archives and found nothing on this question. I have an OE radio. The bezel which I believe is made from pot metal, has several raised marks from corrosion. Does anyone know of a way to polish these out? If I had an extra one, I would try my burnishing bristle on a die grinder maybe. I don't think a cloth wheel with compound would work. Any suggestions?
