Will this wheel/tire combo work

I'm thinking of putting 237/75 R17s on my 65 C10 fleet that has a 2.5 inch drop on the front and 3 inches on the rear. The tires are 30.9X8 inches. I did a search and found alot of combos but not this one,anyone using this size tire or a combo that is this diameter?

Man there are so many variables that this is a loaded question, what frontend

stock, later model with 5 lug and discs------what rear end?

stock, later 70's, brakes and lug pattern ???

this is why no one responded its a little complicated and if the truck is not bone stock the question can only be answered by you...Kieth

what wheels, what offset, front and rear will probably be different

I do not think u will have trouble with the tire size, just what wheel and what offset.

OK a little more info.

Front - Drop spendles with disk brakes and a 5 on 5in bolt pattern power steering box from a 72 C10

Rear - Stock with a 5 bolt replacment axiles.

Wheels - 17 X 8 inch with 4.5 inch back spacing and 0 offset

I have a pair of 275/55R17 on the front with a 4.5 inch drop and they fit. So I would say yes. But I might be wrong.
