Need to find a member in Pittsburg! Craigslist find.
Saw this poster on Craigslist and I would like to purchase it. The owner has not responded to my emails, perhaps thinking I'm a scam ( some days it hurts to be Canadian ). Could you help me get the poster please, less the frame of course.

Is that just the brochure from that year, in a frame? I think I just sold one of those without the frame for $5 bucks on ebay...

Could be just a pamphlet in a frame, I have another poster that's made with a posterboard backing board. I'll be sure to ask if they contact me.

I checked and I didn't sell one exactly like that, but the brochures I had for 62 and 63 DID fold out to a poster about that size.

Well looks like they don't want to sell it to me, so it's up for grabs. Would have liked that poster, but then I want everything 63.

Re: Need to find a member in Pittsburg! Craigslist find.
sometimes they don't like shipping overseas to Canada. a few times it is a bias against
Canadians. there is usually a array of excuses for not wanting to ship here but I think the greatest reason is ignorance ron |

I had problems when I shipped fed ex, got back billed for customs and I had to eat it. I learned that the good old US mail works best. Never had problems since. Kieth

Re: Need to find a member in Pittsburg! Craigslist find.
Well the seller called me this afternoon while I was in the locomotive. He apologised for the delay but told me that Camper Special had sent him an email about my interest in the poster. He said he'd go to Fed Ex to check out how much it would be to ship. Never had any problems with USPS before. Seems everyone thinks that you have to ship courier if it's leaving the States. All's good so far. Thank you Camper Special for notifying the seller on my behalf. Seems to have changed his mind.
I to have heard from American sellers shipping to Canada, then having the buyer refuse to pay the brokerage fees and potentially additional shipping costs for remote locations. I have the stuff shipped to my parents place in Montreal, who are always home or to the Auto Parts store where I used to work because some shippers prefer a buisness address. I've never heard a complaint from people I buy from. My Ebay feedback is 100% and I think this helps shippers who are hesitent to ship to Canada. I think in all the years I've been buying stuff I was refused twice. One was the seller of an Original Sliding Back Window. I think I was going to pass away if I didn't get it, but after hours of calling everyone I knew, I found a guy who's Dad lived in the U.S. who purchased it for me and his son brought it up a few months later.
