Pictures needed of wooden truck floors!

In particular the bed floor supports. What is the correct area a step side should match up to the cab? Do the tall bed supports go in the front back or middle? Im working with a previous installed wood bed kit that never really did fit right. Is there a bushing or mount that goes between the bed and frame bolts?

Re: Pictures needed of wooden truck floors!

Here's a pic of mine without the box on. The thin strip setting on the tire goes about at the rear tire area.

There is a square rubber pad that goes at each bolt location between the frame and cross sill.

Hope this helps...

Re: Pictures needed of wooden truck floors!

That thin strip on every step bed I have seen and even on mine goes about 8 inch behind the second main bed support from the front of the truck . Its loacation is marked by the holes in the angle strip on the passenger lower angle strip thats welded to the bed side. On a couple of frames I have even seen where that small support strip has even rubbed groves in the main frame of the truck from having a lot of weight in the bed of the truck.

This is one of Trex... a wood decking composite. Should outlast the truck!
