1987 Stepside - wheel questions

I need some help everyone. I have a 1987 chevy Stepside that I am going ot be putting new wheels and tires on. Need some help figuring out what I need.

I measured the backspacing of the rims on it now at 3.75". It is a 5 bolt pattern. Does the backspacing seem right?

I am thinking about going with 15x8 rims. I want to get a good rear tread width but not to large. I wasthinking 275x60-r15 for the rear and 235x70-r15 for the front. The transmission is set up for a 28" tire.

Any help and pointing me in the right direction so I can order the rims correctly and help with rear tire size is appreciated.
