it would never work with a 2 groove on the pump , on the original setup the one belt does not go to the pump it skips the pump because it will not have enough belt in contact with the alt pully to keep from slipping .. been there done that ... tried to run a setup like that with one belt , aint gonna work..I think the third pulley bolted on the balancer for the ac .. correct me if I am wrong ...

I agree!! It does not have much surface contact on the alternator pulley. I would think a lot of slippage would occur under load
But I am glad somebody is trying to make a bracket for these motors , They are darn hard to find. I have found most brackets on Nova's or Camaro's. I am always looking for 292 brackets just help out other guys who need them
