Anyone have stock 67 mirrors with good visibility? I am thinking of ordering stainless stock 67gm mirrors from brothers. Just wondering how to get around the blind spots with the small back window? Can a guy get convex peep mirrors for those blind zones.

Get the West Coast Junior style cabside rear view mirrors. They are big and elephant-looking, but the heck with looks, you get maximum rearward surveillance with WestCoast Jrs. You can also hang convex fish eyes, I like a 3" sticky lower right one to see out the the bottom corner on the passenger side -- it helps me see a little behind the right. Also a 5" diameter clamp-on dish mirror to see over my left [drivers side] shoulder. Helps to find semis when merging on the freeway.
A small stock day/night RVM bolted to the top center of the windshield frame should be about all you need to see out the smaller rear window hole.
My '67 was a Suburban, so it had a lot of glass in the rear.

As '68 Orange mentioned, you don't get a lot of visibility with the small round sport mirrors. I took the west coast jr's off several years ago, and have been riding around with the original sport mirror (drivers side only). I'll probably put a nice set of jr's back on some day.

I used the stock arm mount and used the larger rectangular mirror from LMC. I think it is a 5"x7". The visibility is good but they vibrate quite a bit, which is annoying. It isn't the arm like I would have thought. It is the metal that is the back of the mirror, which is so thin it vibrates.

West Coast Jrs don't bounce. Get the later swing-away type. If they get knocked around by a tree branch, when you're out bushwhacking, they pop back into place.
Also they give a truck a grown up semi-tractor look. Just my opinion.

I really have this because I have a 66 and a 68, the stock 66 replacement is deeper rather than wider specifically because of the rear window, it matches perfectly AND the 3 holes line up perfectly AND it gives it a more vintage, stylish look. Oh, sorry, I thought you meant rearview. I got the LMC 4 by 6 rectangle single arm style and the passenger side reaches out a bit farther to help with this plus it has more mirror surfacre than the circular ones, plus the three mounting holes line up perfectly with the tack welded nuts on the plate inside the door. Just a thought.

I have the repro 5" round mirrors from LMC and have had them since the small window cab went on in 2006.
I found that by simply leaning foward, I can see the blind spot in the mirror, I usually glance out the rear window to look behind right rather than use the right hand mirror.
If I towed a trailer much I would probably want bigger mirrors, but towing my Studebaker pickup bed trailer the small mirrors work fine.

I've been using the small round 67 to whatever (70?) stock style mirrors since I finished the truck in 2006. I also have the small window cab. Over 15,000 miles later me and the truck are still here. Pay attention to whats around you and you'll be fine.
