upper rear shock mounts for leaf spring pic
I have no clue where they are, or what might have happened to them, if any of you guys have a helpful picture for me to figure out where they should go would be a big help! thanks

Here's what they look like on my 1 ton wrecker with leaf springs. (don't mind the shocks!)
Not sure if all leaf spring trucks used this style of bracket though.

If those shocks have more than 50,000 miles on them, they might need to be replaced.

Also, for safety sake; it looks like the pinion angle might be off a tad.

Funny thing about those shocks, they are (were) still good. They had no signs of leaking! They are probably on their way to Japan or China about now, they've been scrapped.

Yeh, it sucks. The west coast guys don't realize just how good they have it.
This is the result of leaving a vehicle sitting. This truck was off the road for about 25 years before I got it! Moisture is constantly coming up from the ground so it makes a car/truck rust from the bottom up.
