R10 Engine swap help please

Hey all!
Need your help!
I am currently building a 87 R10 short bed 2wd.
it had a fuely 4.3l v6 and granny tranny manual.
Here is the goal. Stuff my carborated 1978 454 engine and th 400 trans into the truck.

Here my question. I thought the frame mounts and motor mounts would work from the 79.... Wrong. What mounts and frame stands do I need and does anyone know where to get them??

Second question. Since I am going carbed rather than fuel injected, what do I need to do as far as fuel delivery from my tank? I am assuming being a fuel injected truck it will have a in tank fuel pump. Do I have to bypass or just regulate it??

Thanks folks!

Re: R10 Engine swap help please

you should be able to get the factory frame mounts from any autoparts store.

I would regulate the factory pump, make sure you buy a decent one with a return though to keep from burning up the pump. Here is the one i used...Amazon.com: Mallory 4309 High Performance... Amazon.com: Mallory 4309 High Performance...
then just run a fuel pressure guage before the carb under the hood, mine came already set to 7 lbs
