Lowering a 1971 C20 with leaf springs

Hi Everyone,

I have a '71 C20 with leaf springs. I want to keep it 3/4 ton, but with a modest 2" drop all around. I like the rake look to a truck. I'm thinking of using 2" lowering springs in the front, and 2" lowering shackle kit in the rear. Will I have any problem with this arrangement?

I've found most of the parts I need at Performance Online. However, they only have replacement front shocks with 2.5" drop. I wonder if that would work or should I look elsewhere for front shocks with 2" drop?

Sounds like what you have there will work just fine... including the shocks
