Bench seat spring

I just took off seat apart to reupholster it. Anyone know where the large spring attaches to the rails and back into the seat? I cant seem to find a pic anywhere of this. Also the s hook for the wire to slide, does this just attach to the frame anywhere? As long as the wire is taught I guess?

Pics would be great if anyone has them!

Thanks

Re: Bench seat spring

i have a pic i took yesterday of some under seat speaker boxes i made, the one pic does show where the front of the spring goes. I don't think the back of it went anywhere special. Just somewhere as to keep it under tension. I know it goes back at about a 45 degree angle, as i had to make the box go under it. Hope this helps

Hmm thanks for the pic. I'll try my best to find out where they go.

Does anyone have an underneath shot by chance?
