Chrome bed rails??

Earlier today while looking through the this forum saw a couple of beds with chrome bed rails. Can't find the pics now of course. But any idea where these can be bought? What I saw looked like something that could be a factory option and not some cheap universal part like the attached pic.. if it attaches that is.

Re: Chrome bed rails??

If you’re talking about the small diameter original style, I have a modern version on mine. Here are a couple of threads that show how they look and where I bought them:

Post #2982 shows a close up of the mounts: Normally they are attached with screws from the top, but since mine are now on a bed cover I used chrome acorn nuts instead:

And post #4149 below shows what they look like on a short fleetside:

I’ve only seen two mint sets of genuine original rails for sale in the last 10 years. One went for over $500 and the other over $1,000. Most originals turned rusty decades ago and are rarely seen. Post #3 on this thread shows what they look like for comparison:

Re: Chrome bed rails??

here's what I have on mine - they've got some pitting but are in pretty good shape. Need to polish em up now that I'm kind of settling in to the new digs. They were on the truck when I bought it, I'm still undecided as to whether or not I like them... They're similar to markeb01's but I really like his better -the shorter, slanted stantions look mucho better in my opinion.
