1970 GMC Longhorn 402 questions....

I have been working alot and have not been able to be online. I am wondering if it is a big change, transmission crossmember, bellhousing and flywheel is a given. to Swap out my th400 backed 402BB for a 4sp stick i was hoping to grab.

ad below i dont have it in hand yet
Quote:
4 speed tranny for Chevy pick up. $$$ cash. Tail gate for 60 - 66 Chevy or GMC tail gate. $cash, .
What do i need to look for if i get this tranny?

i have done swaps on my classic chevy cars. but have not done a truck.

also the truck is not 4 wheel drive.

So with the brief post i have thrown out. I hope to get a little info to help point me in the direction to putting a stick in. I rather change a clutch than rebuild a th400.
