It lives!!

Well the roller cam 350 runs! Really good engine. 50 lbs of oil pressure at just over idle, no blowby that I can see, and sounds awesome with the cat-less duals and flowmaster 40's. I took it for a quick ride around the block (no license plate or inspection) and even with the 2:73's, this thing will MOVE! Now i've just gotta figure out why it won't idle.. Pics tomorrow, too late right now.

You swapped it out from a 305 TBI, right? You keep all the TBI stuff on it? If you did, the 305 injectors aren't near enough to keep the 350 running. You'll need 40lb injectors (I think that's the size).

My truck is carbed. I slotted the old q-jet intake to fit the TBI heads

Gotcha. Interesting way to get around the differences in intakes, but if it works... Idle screws out far enough? Any vacuum leaks on carb or intake-to-heads?
