68 cab on 90's chasis
Hey guys,
Relatively new to the forum. I've been sitting on my stepside project for a min. I just scored a a dirty cheap 90's truck and was contemplating if i should just throw my 68 cab on the 90's frame. But i was wondering if anybody has ever done a cab swap onto a early 90's chevy truck? Pros: tbi fuel injection, all brakes are good, fuel tank mounted outside of cab. I figure this would/ might be easier and less expensive then rebuilding my old frame, front and rear end and all the brakes. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Rex |

I agree, rebuild the original frame and suspension and you will be much happier in the long run. If you got the other truck dirt cheap sell it for a profit and put the $$$ into the 68

For the time and work its a lot easier to do a under bed gas tank and a efi swap is easy or a full blown ls1 swap.
