I was wondering if anyone has ever upgraded their windshield wipers. Mine just don't work that well in heavy rain.

Any suggestions of upgrades out there? Thanks!

Factory wiper size calls for 16" wiper blades and i upsized mine to 20" wiper blades to clear more of the windshield. One of them rubs on the windshield seal a little so I'd do 19" wipers. It helped quite a bit.

Where did you buy the 19 inch blades. Do you have a part number?

Agree with this. I have yet to do it to mine since I dont use them too often here, especially when the main reason for using them would be with the squirters, and my washer pump is dead. I measured the window a little bit ago, and 19" was the biggest that would work without touching the seal.

grs: the regular part stores have the size in the part #. IE: from autozone the duralast wiper for my suburban is part # DL-16. To get a 19" one you'd want part number DL-19
