Sold my 68 C10 shortwide

Well,
After 14 years, I have parted with my old friend. I just had too many vehicles and a buddy of mine has wanted it for two years. I do still have my 67 C10 stepside. I guess this makes it so I have to take it out more often. It makes me a little sad because I have had it for so long. I had the truck longer than anything else I have ever owned. My girl friend said to stop *****ing about it and count the money. Any way guys and gals I just had to vent.

I hear you. I think my White '67 is going on the block, but I have only owned it for 7 years.

Like you, I will just drive the Green '67 more... and the Red '70, and finish the Yellow '70 so I can drive it...

Re: Sold my 68 C10 shortwide

I know how it feels to let go of your true 'connections' with cars / trucks. Most women just dont realize what it means to bring a rusted / not running project to a car show and someone check it out. .. or that first drive.

I sold a 69 Camaro I owned for 18yrs and restored with my Dad. All for the wife wanting more and more money .. Not saying that's what your wife wanted but mine did. Yes, it's money .. but yes they are hard to let go. .. Let's just say I don't miss her near as much as I miss my ole Camaro.

Take it easy man.
