Some hesitation issues...

Howdy guys!
I've got a 1988 C2500 with the 5.7 350 workhorse, it's starting to develop a weird hesitation problem. When I stop at a light, it idles rough. When I try to take off, it feels like it's choking, I mean rough. Then it will all be ok. If I'm cruising, it runs smooth, rough, smooth again, rough, and keeps doing that. I really don't know what to do. I sprayed throttle body cleaner in the TBI to no avail, I'm gonna put a fuel filter on it tomorrow to see how that goes.

Does anybody have any idea as to what could cause this?

Thanks for reading!

Re: Some hesitation issues...

Got it! Ha ha one of my spark plug wires melted to the exhaust manifold....
Then it would arc to the wire next to it and to the manifold, depending on which it wanted to shock:P
New wires and plugs and it's running like a champ, thanks guys!
