Re: Roll bar
If you ever make to south Jersey I would take it. I live near Atlantic City.

Re: Roll bar
The bases are very solid, and should clean up nicely.

Re: Roll bar
gochoa, I imagine that it is too bulky to ship Greyhound, so I will try to get a quote from some common carriers tomorrow.

Re: Roll bar
I shipped one throw grayhound for less then $100.00 but they might want you to put bubble rap all around it.

Re: Roll bar
Greyhound quoted $64 on-line, but they only ask for longest dimension. Think it may be a little more if they see the actual part (?)

Re: Roll bar
Orangblaz, thanks for checking, but I am afraid you are correct, once they see they might want more. Hopefully i haven't inconvinced you too much, I'm going to have to pass.

Re: Roll bar
If you are positive its an original 67-72 I'll take it to 75956 or nearest Greyhound would be Beaumont, Tx. I have recieved entire truck seats through greyhound for $70-$100 so they should take the bar

Re: Roll bar
Quote:
I have two rollbars, one came out of my current '72 K5 (bought in 1990) and the other from a '72 I parted out several years ago. The bases of the main hoop bolt to the floor behind the door jambs, and the supports bolt onto the rear wheel tubs, and they are made of 1 3/4" heavy wall tubing. I assume that these were dealer installed as I have never seen them on a SPID(maybe a more knowledgeable member could chime in...) I'll take it to Greyhound tomorrow to get a quote. Thanks. |

Re: Roll bar
If you have two of them, is the other for sale also? If so or if this one gets to me, can you check shipping to 28327 or I think the nearest grey hound is in either Fayetteville, NC or Raleigh, NC. Thanks
